4th of July Shots

Salute America with a "4th of July" Shot. This shot combines three ingredients that layer it to be exactly our national colors: red, white and blue. Be patriotic this Independence Day and have a couple of "shots" for your country !

Grenadine 1/3 oz

Blue Curacao 1/3 oz

Peach Schnapps 1/3 oz

Be sure to carefully layer the ingredients to give the drink it's tri-color look.

Pour the grenadine into a shot glass. Float the peach schnapps on top of the grenadine. To do this use the back side (convex side) of a bar spoon facing up. Place the tip of the spoon so that it touches the inside of the glass just above the grenadine. Pour the peach schnapps over the back side of the spoon very slowly. The liquid should flow gradually down the spoon and against the wall of the glass, and then flow gently down the side of the glass and form a new layer on top of the grenadine. Finally, layer the Blue Curacao on top of the peach schnapps using the same technique.
